Know God

I want to know Jesus Christ. What do i do?

Everyone comes to Jesus at a different place in their life. We’ve created this page to help you on your journey.

Start Here

Following Jesus is a completely new way of life. If you are ready to accept Christ into your life, here’s some information to help you get started!

Repent

What does it mean to repent? To repent means to realize that sin offends God, then turn away from sin and move towards God.

Jesus went into Galilee, where he preached God’s Good News. “The time promised by God has come at last!” he announced. “The Kingdom of God is near! Repent of your sins and believe the Good News!”

Mark 1:14-15

Accept Jesus

Choosing to accept Jesus Christ into your life is one of the most important decisions you’ll ever make
.
If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved.

John 3:16 (NLT)

God's Gift of Eternal Life

Accepting Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior means you receive God’s gift of forgiveness and eternal life.

For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.”

John 3:16 (NLT)

Be Baptized

God asks all believers to show their faith by being baptized. Even Jesus was baptized in public. Fill out the form at the bottom of this page if you would like to be baptized in water.

Peter replied, ‘Each of you must repent of your sins and turn to God, and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. […]’ Those who believed what Peter said were baptized and added to the church that day – about 3,000 in all.

Acts 2:38, 41 (NLT)

Grow your Faith

Now that you’ve accepted Christ, becoming like Him in the way you think and act can seem like a big undertaking. Here are some practical and
simple ways you can grow in your faith day by day.

Read the Bible

The Bible, or Scripture, teaches us about God’s nature and His loving plan for our lives through Jesus. The Bible is more than just a story, it is the living Word of God, meaning its message is still relevant to each person today..

All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work.

2 Timothy 3:16-17 (NLT)

Pray Daily

Prayer is how we directly communicate with God. This doesn’t have to be complicated or wordy. Just be consistent in setting aside time to talk to God and listen to what He may say to you.

Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.

Philippians 4:6 (NLT)

attend church regularly

Attending church gives you an opportunity to grow not only in your faith but in your relationships with others.

And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of His return is drawing near.

Hebrews 10:25 (NLT)

get connected

You are not meant to do life alone. Christian living is all about community and sharing. It’s important to build healthy relationships that will support and help sustain your relationship with Jesus.

They worshiped together at the Temple each day, met in homes for the Lord's Supper, and shared their meals with great joy and generosity

Acts 2:46 (NLT)
